2022/2023 Seasonal (Winter) Operators, Drivers & Laborers

Nanuq is hiring Operators, Drivers, and Laborers for three projects contracted by Santos and ConocoPhillips for the 2022/2023 winter season.
To be eligible for employment, applicants must:

Be willing and able to work up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week

Carry a valid driver's license and/or CDL (some exceptions made for Laborer positions that are NOT in equipment)

Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (12-panel drug screen & BAT)

Have a current NSB NSTC card or obtain one via the online training

Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures

Site Technician, Nuiqsut Air Monitoring Station
KUUKPIK CORPORATION
The Air Monitoring Site Technician (site tech) performs scheduled maintenance, inspections, quality assurance verifications, and minor repairs on the Nuiqsut Air Monitoring station and related weather station. The site tech is expected to check in with the SLR Station Operator bi-monthly and may be called up to assist with as-needed repairs or investigations. A critical part of the job would be to collect VOC samples at the Air Quality monitoring station once per month and on an as-needed basis, complete appropriate documentation and coordinate with SLR International for logistics and sample hand-off.
